Has the news of the Overwhelming Event reached you?
Faces that Day will be humbled.
Laboring, exhausted.
Burning in a scorching fire.
Given to drink from a boiling spring.
They will have no food except bitter thorns.
It neither nourishes nor satisfies hunger.
Faces that Day will be radiant.
Pleased with their striving.
In a lofty Paradise.
Where they hear no idle talk.
In it is a flowing spring.
In it are raised couches.
Goblets set ready.
Cushions lined up.
Fine carpets spread out.
Do they not look at the camels, how they were created?
At the sky, how it was raised?
At the mountains, how they were anchored?
At the earth, how it was spread out?
So remind, for you are only a reminder.
You have no control over them.
But whoever turns away and disbelieves.
God will punish him with the greatest punishment.
To Us is their return.
Then upon Us is their reckoning.
