Read in the name of your Rabb WHO created.
HE created man from leech-like clots.
Read! Your Rabb is the Most Generous
HE WHO taught with the pen
HE has taught man what he did not know.
On the contrary, man indeed tries to play God
that he sees his self as self-sufficient!
Of certain, unto your Rabb is the return.
Have you considered the one who impedes
a devotee [of God] when he prays?
Have you considered if he was upon Guidance?
Or [if] he bid in piety?
Have you considered if he called the truth a lie and turned away?
Does he not know that Allah sees?
No! If he does not desist, WE will indeed drag him by his forehead—
a lying, wrongful, forehead.
Then let him call his grand council.
WE shall call the enforcers.
No! Do not obey him. Prostrate and draw ever closer. ۩
