By the heavens, endowed with constellations
And by the promised Day
And by the witness and the witnessed
Slain were the [souls of the] sponsors of the pit
of the fire, full of fuel
when they were minders over [the fire]
And they were witnesses over what they did with the believers.
They took revenge on them for no reason except that they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy
HE to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is ever a witness over each and every thing.
Of certain, the ones who have persecuted believing men and believing women and have not repented thereafter— for them is the punishment of Jahannam and for them is the punishment of the Burning.
Of certain, the ones who had believed and did the right deeds, for them are gardens subservient to which rivers flow—grand success, such as that!
Surely, your Rabb’s grip is categorically severe.
It is HE— HE originates, and HE repeats,
HE is the Forgiving, the Loving,
Owner of the Majestic Throne,
Consummate executor of whatever HE intends.
Has a telling of the forces come to you?
of Pharaoh and Thamūd?
Yet, the ones who have disbelieved are deep in denial,
while Allah is ever encompassing of everything around and beyond them.
Nay! It is a glorious Quran
in an ever preserved tablet.
