When the sun is rounded up,
and when the stars collapse,
and when the mountains are set in motion,
and when pregnancies are halted,
and when the beasts are gathered,
and when the seas are set aflame,
and when the selves are paired,
and when the baby girl who was buried alive is asked
for what crime was she killed?
And when the Scrolls are laid open
and when the sky is stripped away,
and when Hellfire is set ablaze,
and when Paradise is brought near:
each self will know what it has brought forth.
I swear by the retreating planets
that run and hide,
and the night as it closes in,
and the morning as it breathes:
it is the utterance of a noble messenger,
possessing power and secured by the Possessor of the Throne.
He is to be obeyed and trusted.
And your friend is not mad.
He saw him at the clear horizon.
He is not withholding any knowledge of the unseen,
and it is not the utterance of an outcast devil.
So where are you going?
It is but a Reminder for all the people;
for those of you who wish to go straight.
And you will not will unless God wills, the Lord of the Worlds.
