Surah “The Spoils of War”

as rendered by Verbatim Quran - Mahmoud K — 75 verses

8:1
They ask you about the Privileges. Say, 'The Privileges are to Allah and the Messenger.' So, protect from Allah, and reform that which is between you, and obey Allah and His Messenger, if you are believers.
8:2
Indeed, the believers are but those whose hearts quivers when Allah is mentioned, and when His signs were recited upon them, it increased them in belief, and upon their Lord, they rely.
8:3
Those who upraise the salute; and from what We catered them, they confer.
8:4
These are the true believers. To them, are degrees at their Lord, and forgiveness, and a generous catering.
8:5
Like your Lord egressed you from your house with the fact, and a group of the believers were surely hating it.
8:6
They wrangle you in the fact after it was clarified as if they are being steered to death while they are gandering.
8:7
And as Allah vows you one of the two parties, that it would be to you, but you endear that the one without the thorn is to you. And Allah wants to enact the fact with His words, and cut the remnant of the unbelievers.
8:8
To enact the fact and to repeal the repealed, even though the criminals hated it.
8:9
As you seek succor from your Lord, so He responded to you, 'Indeed, I am supplementing you with one thousand angels reinforcing.'
And Allah made it only as a cheer, and to content your hearts with it. And the support comes only from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Cherished, Wise.
As He shrouds you with drowsiness, as an amnesty from Him. And He descends upon you water from the sky, to purify you with it, and to remove from you the Satan's grime, and to rope upon your hearts, and to affix the feet with it.
As your Lord cues to the angels: 'I am with you, so affix those who believed. I will lay trepidation into the hearts of those who unbelieved. So, drub above the necks, and drub from them every finger.'
That is because they breached Allah and His Messenger. And whoever breaches Allah and His Messenger, then Allah is staunch in punishment.
That's it; so, taste it.' And indeed, to the unbelievers is the tribulation of the Fire.
O you who believed! When you encounter those who unbelieved confronting, then do not alienate the rears to them.
Anyone who alienates his rear on that Day, except maneuvering to a fight, or re- alienating to a faction, then he has abided with anger from Allah, and his home is Gehennam, and miserable is the destiny!
So, you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you did not throw when you throwed, but it was Allah who throwed. And to plague the believers from it an excellent plague. Indeed, Allah is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
That's it, and Allah will wane the collusion of the unbelievers.
If you triumph, then the triumph has come to you. And if you inhibit, then it is better for you. And if you repeat, We repeat; and your faction, however numerous, will not avail from you anything. And indeed, Allah is with the believers.
O you who believed! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not elude from him while you are listening.
And be not like those who said, 'We heard,' and they do not hear.
Indeed, the worst of creatures at Allah are the deaf and dumb, those who do not reason.
And had Allah knew any good in them, He would have made them hear; And had He made them hear, they would have eluded while evading.
O you who believed! Respond to Allah and to the Messenger when He calls you to what revives you. And know that Allah interferes between a person and his heart, and that to Him you will be squashed.
And protect from an affliction that does not strike those who oppressed among you exclusively, and know that Allah is staunch in punishment.
And remember when you were few, weakened in the earth, fearful that the masses may capture you; so, He homed you, and aided you with His support, and catered you from the beauts, perhaps you thank.
O you who believed! Do not betray Allah and the Messenger, nor betray your trusts, while you know.
And know that your money and your children are an affliction and indeed, Allah has an immense wage.
O you who believed! If you protect from Allah, He will make to you a furcation, and will expiate your misdeeds from you, and He will forgive to you. And Allah is the one with the immense favor.
And as the unbeliever's scheme against you, to arrest you, or kill you, or egress you. And they scheme, and Allah schemes, and Allah is the Best of the schemers.
And when Our signs were recited upon them, they said, 'We heard. Had we wished, we could have said like this; indeed, these are nothing but stories of the oldens.'
And as they said, 'Our God, if this was the fact from You, then rain upon us stones from the sky, or come to us with a painful tribulation.'
But Allah was not to tribulate them while you are amongst them. And Allah was not tribulate them while they ask for forgiveness.
And what is to them that Allah will not tribulate them while they are occluding from the Prohibited Mosque, although they were not its allies? Indeed, its allies are only the ethical, but most of them do not know.
And their salute at the House was nothing but moaning and echoing, so taste the tribulation with what you used to unbelieve.
Indeed, those who unbelieved confer their money to occlude from Allah's path. So, they will confer it, then it will be a sorrow upon them, then they will be quelled. And those who unbelieved will be squashed into Gehennam.
For Allah to distinguish the filthy from the beaut, and make the filthy on top of one another, so He ricks it all and put it in Gehennam. Those are they who are the losers.
Say to those who unbelieved: if they inhibit, what has foregone will be forgiven to them. But if they repeat, then the judgments of the oldens has been passed."
And fight them until there is no affliction, and religion becomes all to Allah. So, if they inhibit, then Allah is Observant with what they moil.
But if they eluded, then know that Allah is your Ally. Endowed is the Ally and endowed is the Supporter.
And know that anything you gained, then to Allah its fifth, and to the Messenger, and to those with kinship, and the orphans, and the impecunious, and the path- bairn, if you believed in Allah and in what We descended upon Our worshipper on the Day of Furcation, the day when the two gatherings encountered. And Allah is Capable upon everything
As you were on the mundane edge, and they were on the furthest edge, and the caravan was inferior from you. And had you appointed, you would have disagreed on the appointment, but for Allah to decree a done matter, to annihilate who was annihilated by an evidence, and revive who He revived by an evidence. And indeed, Allah is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
As Allah showed them to you in your sleep as a little. And Had He made you see them as many, you would have failed, and disputed in the matter. But Allah peaced. Indeed, He is Knowledgeable with that of the chests.
And as He showed them to you. As you encountered them, as little in your eyes, and belittle you in their eyes, for Allah to decree a done matter. And to Allah, all matters are returned.
O you who believed! If you encounter a faction, then affix, and mention Allah much, perhaps you plough.
And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute, else you fail and your wind goes. And persevere. Indeed, Allah is with those who are persevering.
And do not be like those who egressed from their dwellings in spurning and appearing to the masses, and occluding from the path of Allah. And Allah is encompassing with what they moil.
And as the Satan ornamented their moils to them, and said, 'There is no queller to you from the masses today, and I am a guard to you.' But when the two factions saw one another, he cancelled on his backs, and said, 'I repudiate from you; I see what you do not see; I fear Allah, and Allah is staunch in punishment.'
As the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a malady say, 'Those were lured by their religion.' But whoever relies on Allah, then indeed, Allah is Cherished, Wise.
And if you could only see, as the angels retrieve those who unbelieved, drubbing their faces and their rears: 'And taste the tribulation of scorching.'
That is with what your hands have forwarded, and indeed, Allah is not an oppressor to the bondservants.'
Like the habit of Al Pharaun, and those before them. They unbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah took them with their offenses. Indeed, Allah is Powerful, Staunch in punishment.
That is because Allah was not changing an endowment He has endowed upon a folk until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
Like the habit of Al Pharaun, and those before them. They denied in the signs of their Lord, so We annihilated them with their offenses, and We drowned Al Pharaun, and they were all oppressors.
Indeed, the worst of creatures at Allah are those who unbelieved. So, they do not believe.
Those who you covenanted from them, then they break their covenant every time. And they do not ethicize.
So, if you confront them in war, then dispel with them those who are behind them, perhaps they remember.
And if you fear treason from some folk, then toss to them equally. Indeed, Allah does not love the traitors.
And let not the unbelievers suppose that they have preceded. Indeed, they cannot challenge.
And prepare to them all the power you can, and from the horse troops, to horrify with it Allah's adversaries and your adversaries, and others from below them whom you do not know. Allah knows them. And anything you confer in the path of Allah's will be fulfilled to you, and you will not be oppressed.
And if they wing towards peace, then wing towards it, and rely on Allah. Indeed, it is Him who is the Hearing, the Knowledgeable.
But if they want to deceive you, then Allah is your suffice. It is Him who aided you with His support, and with the believers.
And He affiliated between their hearts. Had you conferred what is in the earth, altogether, you would not have affiliated between their hearts, but Allah affiliated between them. Indeed, He is Cherished, Wise.
O prophet! Allah is your suffice and who followed you from the believers.
O prophet! Urge the believers to fight. If there are twenty who persevere among you, they will quell two hundred; and if there are a hundred of you, they will quell a thousand of those who unbelieve; because indeed, they are folk who do not comprehend.
Allah has now alleviated upon you, and He knew that there is a frailty in you. So, if there are a hundred who persevere among you, they will quell two hundred; and if there are a thousand of you, they will quell two thousand by Allah's consent. And Allah is with those who persevere.
It was not for a prophet to have captives until he thickens in the earth. You want the reward of the mundane, but Allah wants the Hereafter. And Allah is Cherished, Wise.
Were it not for a script that preceded from Allah, an immense tribulation would have touched you for what you have taken.
So, consume from what you have gained, allowed, beaut; and protect from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
O prophet! Say to those among the captives in your hands, 'If Allah knows any good in your hearts, He will give you better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.'
And if they want to betray you, then they betrayed Allah before, so He overcomed from them. And Allah is Knowledgeable, Wise.
Indeed, those who believed, and emigrated, and struggled in the path of Allah with their money and their selves, and those who homed and supported, these are allies of one another. And those who believed, but did not emigrate, you owe them no alliance from anything, until they emigrate. But if they ask you for support in religion, then upon you is the support, except upon a folk with whom you have a covenant. And Allah is Observant with what they moil.
And those who unbelieved, some of them are allies of one another. Unless you do it, there will be an affliction in the earth and a big devastation.
And those who believed, and emigrated, and struggled in the path of Allah, and those who homed and supported, these are in fact the believers. To them is forgiveness, and an honorable catering.
And those who believed afterward, and emigrated and struggled with you, then these are from you. And the relatives are more apt to one another in the Scripture of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Knowledgeable with everything.
