Surah “The Emissaries, Winds Sent Forth”

as rendered by Samy Mahdy — 50 verses

By the emissaries (wind), one after another.
Then by the stormers (wind) stormily.
And by the propagators (wind) a propagation.
Then by the separators, a separation.
Then by the throwers (Angels) of, a reminder.
Excusing or warning.
Surely what you are promised will occur.
So when the stars are obliterated.
And when the sky is slit.
And when the mountains were blown up.
And when the messengers are gathered to their appointed time.
For which day they postponed?
Till the decisive adjudication day.
And what cognizes you what is the decisive adjudication day?
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
Did We not destroy the formers?
Then We will follow them up with the later ones.?
Thus We do with the criminals.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
Did We not create you from humiliated water?
So We set it in a well settled place?
Till a known time, predestinated.
So we estimated. So, how graciously is the estimator.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
Did We not set up the earth as a receptacle?
For the living and the dead?
And set in it, monumental stabilizers (mountains), and watering you sweet water?
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
“Launch, to what you were falsified by it.”
“Launch, to a shadow possessor of three forks.”
Not shady, nor availing against the flames.
It spews sparks as big as the castles.
As if they were yellow camels.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
This is a Day they will not speak.
And will not be permitted for them, so they will make excuses.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
This is the decisive adjudication day; We have gathered you, and the formers.
So if you have a plan, so plan against Me.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
Surely the pious will be in shades and springs.
And fruits from what they desire.
“Eat and drink a wholesome appetite, with what you were working.”
Surely thus We rewarded the benefactors.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
“Eat and enjoy a little; surely you are criminals.”
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
And if it is said to them, “Kneel”, they do not kneel.
Woe on that Day for the falsifiers.
So with what narration, after it, will they believe?
