Surah “Women”

as rendered by Zulfiquar Ali Bhotto — 176 verses

4:1
O mankind, revere your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from her [female-male-female gender alteration] her own mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And revere Allah, whom you all are questioning about it [self procreation], and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.
4:2
And give the orphans their properties and do not exchange the bad [of your own] by the good [of theirs]. And do not devour their properties [by merging it with] yours. Indeed, it would be a great sin.
4:3
And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or marry those whom your right hand possesses [slave girls]. That is more likely that you will not do injustice.
4:4
And give the women their dower freely. And if they willingly remit to you any part of it, then consume it with pleasure and good cheer.
4:5
And do not give the weak-minded your properties [O men], which Allah has set up as establishment for you. But provide livelihood to them with it and clothe them and speak to them with kind words.
4:6
And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable age. Then if you find in them mature mind, hand over their property to them. And do not consume it excessively and quickly, [fearing] that they are growing up. And whoever is rich, so he should refrain [from taking a guardianship fee]; and whoever is poor, so let him take [a guardianship fee] according to what is acceptable. So when you hand over their property to them, then let there be witnesses upon them. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
4:7
For the men is a share of what their parents and relatives had left, and for the women is a share of what their parents and relatives had left, whether it is little or much, an obligatory share.
4:8
And if [other] relatives and the orphans and the needy persons, attended the division, then provide livelihood to them from it and speak to them kind words.
4:9
And let those [executors and guardians] fear [the same fear], those who, if they would had left behind them weak offspring, would have feared upon them. So let them fear Allah and speak truthfully.
Indeed, those who consume the property of orphans oppressively, only consuming fire in their bellies. And they will be burning in a Blazing Fire.
Allah instructs you concerning your children: the male has the equivalent of the share of two females. Then if there are [only] women, more than two, so they will have two thirds of what he left. And if she is only one, then she will have one half. And for his parents, each one of them will have one sixth of what he left, if he had progeny. But if he had no progeny, and his parents [alone] inherit from him, then his mother will have one third, and if he has siblings, then his mother will have one sixth, after a will he enjoys it or debt. Your parents and your sons, you do not know which of them are more welcoming to you through profit. It is an obligation from Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing, Wise.
And you will have one half of what your wives left, if they had no progeny. But if they had progeny then you will have one fourth of what they left, after a will they enjoy it or debts. And they [wives] will have one fourth of what you left, if you have no progeny; and if you have progeny then they will have one-eighth of what you left. After a will you enjoy or debt. And if the man has no heir [parents, progeny] or woman, but has a brother or sister, then each of the two will have one-sixth. But if they are more than that [two], then they shall inherit one-third. After a will he enjoys in it or or debt without any injury. This is a commandment from Allah; Allah is All-Knowing, All-Forbearing
These are the bounds [set by] Allah, and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, He will admit him to gardens [in Paradise], flowing from beneath which are the rivers, abiding in it for ever. And that is the supreme triumph.
And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, and transgresses His bounds, He will admit him to the Fire to dwell therein for ever, and he will have a humiliating punishment.
And those who bring up the obscenity of your women, then call to witness against them four [witnesses] from you. And if they testified, then confine them to houses until [Allah] recalls them by the death or Allah set up for them a way.
And the two who commit it [obscenity] from you, so punish them both. Then if they both repent and reform, so turn away from them. Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance, Merciful.
The relenting is only upon Allah for those who work the evil in ignorance and then they repent soon after. So those Allah will relent upon them [forgive them]. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
But the relenting is not for those who continue to work evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Indeed, now I repent;" nor for those who die while they are infidels. Those for them We have prepared a painful punishment.
O you who believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit the women by compulsion. And do not make life difficult for them to take back a part of what [the dower] you gave them, except if they bring an obvious obscenity. And live with them in kindness. For if you hate them, the perhaps you hate a thing while Allah has set up therein much good.
And if you want to replace a wife in place of a wife and you have given one of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in false accusation and an obvious sin?
And how can you [people] take it when one of you [mankind] has gone in unto the other [womankind], and they [your women] have taken from you a firm covenant [marriage contract]?
And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, except what has already passed. Indeed, it was an immorality and hateful [to Allah] and an evil way.
Forbidden upon you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your milk-mothers, your milk-sisters, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] from your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you had not gone in with them, there is no sin upon you [if you marry their daughters]. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already passed. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
And [also forbidden to you for marriages are:] all married women except those whom your right hands have come to possess [as a result of war]. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you. And lawful to you are [all others] beyond these, [provided] that you seek them [in marriage] with [gifts from] your property, desiring chastity, not promiscuity. So for whatever you enjoy [of marriage] from them, so give them their bridal-due as an obligation. And there is no blame upon you in what you mutually agree to beyond the obligation. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
If any of you cannot afford to marry a believing free woman, then [marry] such believing women whom your right hands possess. Allah knows best about your faith: some of you are from some other. So marry them with their guardian’s permission and their proper bride-gifts. [Make them] married women, not adulteresses or lovers. So if they commit adultery when they are married, their punishment will be half that of free women. This is for those of you [men] who fear that you will sin; it is better for you to be patient. Allah is Forgiver, Merciful.
He wishes to make His laws clear to you and to guide you the [righteous] ways of those before you [Qur'an 1:6], to relent upon you. And Allah is all Knowing, all Wise.
Allah wants to relent upon you, but those who follow the desires desire that you deviate, a great deviation.
And Allah wants to lighten upon you [your burdens]; and the humankind was created weak.
O you who believed, do not devour your wealth between yourselves by the falsehood [organization], except that it is a trade [organization] based on mutual consent among you. And do not kill yourselves. Indeed, Allah is ever Merciful with you.
Whoever does that aggression and injustice, then soon We shall burn him in Fire; and that is easy upon Allah.
If you [believers] avoid the major sins which you are prohibited from, We will remit from you your evil deeds, and admit you to a noble entrance [into Paradise].
And do not wish what Allah has given as preference on some of you over others. For the men is a share of what they have earned, and for the women is a share of what they have earned. Ans ask Allah of His bounty. Indeed Allah is ever, about every thing, Knowing.
And for all, We have made heirs from what [property] is left by the parents and the relatives. And those to whom your right hand have pledged, so give their share. Indeed Allah is ever, over everything, a Witness.
Men are established over the women by what Allah has given one of them [men] over the other [women], and by what they spend from their possessions for the righteous women, obedient [women], for the unseen chaste [women], by what Allah has ordered men to safeguard [women]. And if from them you fear their ill-manner, so admonish [the wicked ones], and forsake [the disobedient ones in recesses], and beat [the lewd ones]. So if they obey you [men in Islam], do not transgress against them. Indeed Allah is Ever Exalted, Grand.
And if you [guardians] fear split between the two [a man and his wife], send a judge from his family and a judge from her family. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause that between the two. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing, All-Aware.
And Worship Allah and do not associate with Him anything, and with the parents be humble, and with the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the welcoming neighbour, and the neighbour farther away, and the companion at your side, and the traveler, and what your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not love those whoever is self-deluding, boastful.
Those who are stingy and commands the people to be stingy, and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty, and We have prepared for the infidels, a humiliating punishment -
And those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and are not believing in Allah nor in the Last Day. And whoever has taken Satan for him as a companion, so he is an evil companion.
And what would be against them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and spent, for what Allah provided for them? And Allah is ever, about them, Knowing.
Indeed, Allah does not wrong [anyone], [even] as much as an atom's [small ant] weight. And if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from His welcoming reward, a big.
So how [would it be] when We bring from each nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] as a witness against these [people]?
On that Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish that the earth was leveled with them; and they cannot hide any narration from Allah.
O you who believed, do not approach the prayer while you are drunk, till you know what you say; nor in a state of janabah, except when traveling on the road, until you have bathed. And if you are ill or journeying, or one of you comes from the toilet [defecation, urination] or you touched the women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands [with it]. Indeed, Allah is ever Pardoning, Forgiving.
Have you [O Muhammad] not considered those who were given a share from the Book [its former border Qur'an 13:40-41]? They purchase the lost [after losing that, Qur'an 2:93] and wish that you [muslims] lose the way [Qur'an] too.
And Allah knows best about your enemies; and it suffices about Allah as a protector, and it suffices about Allah as a helper.
From the Jews deviate the words from their domains and say: `We hear and disobey,' and `Do hear us, may you turn dumb,' and `Hearken to us,' twisting it abusively with their tongues and disparage in the religion. And if they said, `We hear and obey,' and ‘Do listen to us', and `Look at us,' it would have been better for them and more straight. But Allah has cursed them about their disbelief, so they do not believe except a little.
O you who were given the Book, believe in what We sent down [to Muhammad], confirming to that [covenant, Qur'an 2:40] which is with you, before We obliterate faces, so We turn them over their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And the decree of Allah is ever being executed.
Indeed, Allah does not forgive that partners be associated with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whomever He wills. And whoever associates partners with Allah, so he has certainly forged a tremendous sin.
Have you [O Muhammad] not considered those who are excepting themselves as pure? No but [i.e., except] is there. It is only Allah who cleanses whoever He wills. And they will not be wronged even as much as a thread on a date seed.
Look how they forge against Allah the lies; and [every manifestation] suffices about it, as a manifest sin.
Have you [O Muhammad] not considered those who were given a share from the Book [its former border Qur'an 13:40-41]? They believe in superstition and the taghuts [false gods] and say to those who disbelieved, "These are better guided than those who believed in the way?"
Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed. And whoever Allah curses, then you will not find for him any helper.
Or have they a share in the kingdom? So, then they would not give the people the speck on a date seed.
Or do they envy the people [Muslims] upon what Allah has given them from His bounty? And certainly we had given the family of Abraham the Book and the wisdom, and given them a big kingdom.
Then, of them is he who believed in it [the book], and of them is he who turned away from it. And it [his turning] suffices about Hell for [his] roasting.
Indeed, who disbelieved in Our verses, soon We will burn them in a Fire. Everytime their skins are roasted, We shall replace them with other skins so they may fully taste the punishment. Indeed Allah is Ever All-Mighty, All-Wise.
And those who believed and worked the righteous deeds, We will admit them to paradises, flowing from beneath which the rivers, they shall abide therein forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to a vast shade.
Indeed, Allah commands you to deliver allegiances to its [rightful] owner. And when you decide [leaders by your votes] between people, you must decide with fairness. Indeed, Allah advises you excellently in it. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing, Seer.
O you who believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority from you. And if you disagree in anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you indeed believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best, and the most excellent interpretation.
Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was sent down to you, [the Qur'an, O Muhammad], and what was sent down before you [its former border Qur'an 13:40-41]? They want to establish upto the taghuts [false gods], while they were commanded to disbelieve therein. And Satan wishes to stray them far astray.
And if it is said to them, "Come to what Allah has sent down and to the Messenger," you [O Muhammad] see the hypocrites turning away from you with dislike.
How then, when a calamity afflicted them regarding what their hands have put forth, then they come to you swearing by Allah: "Left was nothing in our intention except excellence and reconciliation"?
Those are the ones whom Allah knows what is in their hearts. So turn away from them and advice them, and speak to them concerning their souls, a far reaching word.
And We sent no messenger except that he should be obeyed by Allah's permission. And if that they whenever oppressed themselves, came to you, [O Muhammad], and sought forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Relenting, Merciful.
So no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they are authorizing you on whatever is arising between them, then they will not find within themselves any discomfort for whatever you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
And if that We wrote upon them that: "Kill yourselves" or "Go out from your homes," they would have not done it, except for a few from them. But if that they had done what they were advised therein, it would have been better for them and a stronger firmness.
And then We would have given them from Our welcoming reward, a big.
And We would have guided them to a straight path.
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, so those would be with those whom Allah bestowed His favour upon them from the prophets [Qur'an 19:58], and the truthful ones, and the martyrs, and the righteous. And excellent are those as comrades.
That is the bounty from Allah, and [every embodiment] suffices about Allah as an Embodiment of all knowledge.
O you who believed, take your precautions, and advance in groups or advance altogether.
And indeed, there is from you he who lags behind. So if a calamity strikes you, he said, "Allah has bestowed His grace upon me, that I was not a martyr with them."
But if a bounty from Allah befell you from Allah, he will surely say, as if there existed between you and between him, no affection, "Oh, I wish I had been with them so I could have gained a great gain."
So let him fight in the way of Allah, be of those who sell the life of this world with the Hereafter. And whoever fights in the way of Allah, then gets killed or achieves victory, so soon We shall grant him a great reward.
And what belongs to you that you do not fight in the way of Allah and the helpless of the men, and the women, and the children, who say, "Our Lord, exit us out of this town whose dwellers are oppressors and set up for us from Your welcome [those who sold wordly life, Qur'an 4:74], an ally, and set up for us from Your welcome, a helper?"
Those who believed fight in the way of Allah, while those who disbelieved fight in the way of Taghut [fase god]. So fight against the Satan's allies. Indeed, the plot of Satan is ever weak.
Have you [O Muhammad] not considered those, it was said to them, "Restrain your hands and establish the prayers and give the zakah?" So when the fighting was written upon them, actually a team of them started fearing the people as like fearing Allah should be or even more fear. They said, "Our Lord, why have You ordained upon us the fighting? If only You would postpone it for us to a welcoming term." Say, "The enjoyment of this world is little, and the Hereafter is better whoever fears [Allah]. And you will not be oppressed, as much as a thread inside a date seed."
Wherever you may be, death will reach you, even if you should be within towers of lofty tower. And if good befalls them, they say, "This is from Allah "; and if evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you [O Muhammad]." Say, "All is from Allah." So what is with this people that they would not almost understand any narration?
What befell you of good, then it is from Allah, and what befell you of evil, [O Muhammad], then it is from yourself. And We have sent you to mankind as a messenger. And [every bearing] sufficed about Allah as a Bearer of Witness.
He who obeys the Messenger, then surely he has obeyed Allah. And whoever turned away, so We did not sent you over them as a guardian.
And they say [to you O Muhammad], "Obedience." Then when they go out from you, a party from them planned in the night other than what you say. But Allah writes down that which they plan by night. So turn away from them and rely upon Allah. And [every affair] suffices about Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
Do they not ponder the Qur'an? If it had been from other than Allah, they would surely have found in it much contradiction.
And when there comes to them information about [public] security or fear [from the enemy information warrior], they broadcast it [the malicious data]. But if they had referred it back to the Messenger, or to those of authority from them, then the ones who draw inferences from therein [i.e., central theater command] would have known [traced the origin, flow network etc] about it. And if not for the favour of Allah upon you and His mercy, you [due to cognitive impairment] would have followed Satan [info warriors], except for a few.
So [to prevent cognitive impairment] fight [the info warriors, O Muhammad], in the way of Allah; do not task except for yourself [purge all external data]. And encourage the believers [to fight and purge all external data], that perhaps Allah will restrain the kinetic force of those who disbelieve [from launching against you]. And Allah is Stronger in Might, and Stronger to deter.
Whoever intercedes an excellent intercede will have a share from it; and whoever intercedes an evil intercede will have a portion of it. And ever is Allah, over all things, a Keeper.
And when you are greeted with a greeting [by the enemy cyber warriors], greet with one better than it or return it. Indeed, Allah is ever, over everything, an Accountant.
Allah - there is no deity except Him. He will surely gather you all to the Resurrection Day, there is no doubt concerning it. And whose word could be more truthful than Allah's?
So what belongs to concerning the hypocrites, that you [believers] be divided into two groups while Allah has cast them back [from belief] by what they earned? Would you guide those whom Allah has strayed? And whoever Allah astray, you [O Muhammad] will not find for him a way.
They wish you should disbelieve like they have disbelieved, so you all become alike. So do not take from them allies until they emigrate in the way of Allah. And if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you may find them; and take not from them any ally or helper,
Except those who reach out to a people between you and between them is a [bidirectional] treaty, or those who come to you, their hearts stop [playing their double agent role] to fight you or to fight their own people. And if Allah willed, He would empower them over you, and they would have fought you. So if they withdraw from you and do not fight you and offer the peace to you, then Allah has not made for you against them, a way [to fight].
You [believers] will find others [double agents] wishing to obtain security from you, and security from their own people. Every time that which they are sent back to the test [emigration Qur'an 4:89], they fall back therein. So if they do not withdraw from you or offer the peace to you or restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you overtake them. And those - We have made for you against them, an obvious authorization.
Never should a believer kill a believer, except by mistake. And whoever kills a believer by mistake, then he must set free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless that they give it as charity. But if [the deceased] was from a people on war at you, and he was a believer, then the freeing of a believing slave. And if he was from a people between you and between them is a [bidirectional] treaty, then compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For whoever does not find within their means, he must a fast for two consecutive months: a repentance from Allah. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise
And whoever kills a believer intentionally, then his recompense is Hell, to abide therein for ever. And Allah's anger is upon him and He has cursed him, and He has prepared for him a great punishment.
O you who believed, when you travel in the way of Allah, then investigate carefully. And do not say to any one who throws to you the [greeting of] peace, "You are not a believer", desiring for the goods of this life. But with Allah are spoils abundant. You [yourselves] were like that before, but Allah conferred His favour upon you, so investigate. Surely Allah is Ever Aware about what you are working.
Not equal are those staying [at home] from the believers, other than the disabled, and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the way of Allah with their wealth and themselves. Allah has preferred the mujahideen with their wealth and themselves over those who stay [at home], by ranks. And to both Allah has promised good. And Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who stay [at home] with a great reward.
Ranks from Him, and forgiveness, and mercy. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
Indeed, those whom the angels would recall [their records of emigration, Qur'an 4:89] oppressing themselves, [the angels] will ask, "In what [state] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you so you emigrated in it?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and it is a evil destination.
Except for the weakened from the men, and the women and the children who could not devise a plan nor they can guide themselves to a way [of escape].
So those, Allah is likely to pardon on their [response, Qur'an 4:97], and Allah is ever Pardoning, Forgiving
And whoever emigrates in the way of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] habitats and plentiful resources. And whoever exits out from his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him, so already his reward has occurred upon Allah. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
And when you travel through the earth, there is no blame upon you if you shorten from the prayers, not fearing that [the regular length] may test you by those who disbelieved. Indeed, the infidels are ever to you an obvious enemy.
And when you [O Muhammad] are within them, and establish for them the prayer, let a group of them align with you [O Muhammad] and let them carry their arms. And when they prostrate, then let them be exposed behind you and have the other group come forward which has not [yet] prayed and let them pray with you, taking precaution and carrying their arms. Those who disbelieve wish that you would neglect on your weapons and your baggage so they could come down upon you in one [single] attack. But there is no blame upon you, if you are troubled by rain or are ill, for putting down your arms, but take precaution. Indeed, Allah has prepared for the infidels a humiliating punishment.
And when you have accomplished the prayer. So remember Allah, standing, sitting, or on your sides. But when you are secure, the establish the [regular] prayers. Indeed, the prayers are upon the believers, ordained, timed.
And do not be weak in pursuit of the [enemy] people. If you are suffering, then indeed they are also suffering like what you are suffering, while you hope from Allah what they are not hoping. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Indeed, We have sent down to you [O Muhammad], the Book in the truth, so you may expose [the traitors] between the people with what Allah has shown you [the method, Qur'an 2:256, Qur'an 16:125]. And do not be for the traitors an advocate [O Muhammad].
And seek forgiveness of Allah [O Muhammad]. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
And do not argue on behalf of those who are betraying themselves. Indeed Allah does not love whoever was a traitor, sinner.
They hide [their treachery] from the people, but they cannot hide from Allah. And He is with them when they planned by the night, what He does not approve of the word [expected outcome of their plot]. And ever is Allah about what they are working, Encompassing.
Here you, those of you who argued on behalf of them in the worldly life, but who will argue with Allah on behalf of them on the Day of Resurrection [where their hidden faces would be exposed]? Or who will be over them, an advocate?
And whoever does evil or oppress his soul, then seeks forgiveness of Allah, he will find Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
And whoever commits a sin, so he only commits it against his soul. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.
But whoever commits a mistake, or a sin, and then threw in it an innocent [person], for sure has burdened himself with a slander and an obvious sin.
And if not the favour of Allah upon you and His mercy [O Muhammad], a group of them [tribe of Bani Dhafar] would have intended to mislead you. But they do not mislead except themselves, and they can harm you, nothing. And Allah has sent down upon you the Book and the wisdom and has taught you that which you did not know. And the favour of Allah upon you was great.
There is no good in much of their secret talks, except for he who orders about charity, or kindness, or a reconciliation between the people. And he who does that, seeking the pleasure of Allah, so We shall soon give him a great reward.
And whoever opposes the Messenger, after the guidance has become manifest to him, and follows other than the path of the believers, and We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and We will burn him in Hell, and it is an evil destination.
Indeed, Allah does not forgive that with Him be associated any partner; and He forgives whatever is other than that to whom He wills. And whoever associates partners with Allah, then certainly he has strayed, farthest astray.
And left is none they may invoke other than Him except females, and left is none then may invoke except a rebellious Satan.
Allah has cursed him. And he said, "I will surely take from Your slaves a significant portion.
And I will astray them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them, so they will cut off the ears of cattle, and I will command them, so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally rather than Allah, so certainly he has lost as an obvious loser.
He [Satan] promises them, and arouses desire in them. But Satan does not promise them except delusion.
Those [deluded ones], their abode is Hell and they will not find any escape from it.
And those who believed and worked the righteous deeds, We will admit them to paradises, flowing from beneath which are the rivers, they will abide therein for ever. True is Allah's promise and whose word could be more truthful than Allah?
[Satan who arouses desires, Qur'an 4:119] will not be by your desires nor by the desires of the people of the Book. Whoever does evil shall be recompensed with it, and he will not find other than Allah, a protector or a helper.
And Whoever works from the righteous deeds, whether male or female, and is a believer, so those will enter the Paradise, and they will not be wronged [even as much as] the speck on a date seed.
And who is better in religion than one who submits his face to Allah and he is a doer of good and follows the religion of Abraham, a Monotheist? And Allah had taken Abraham, as a friend.
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah about everything all encompassing.
And they seek a ruling from you [O Muhammad] concerning women. Say, "Allah already gives you a ruling concerning them [Qur'an 4:34] and [remember] what has been recited to you in the Book concerning female orphans whom you do not give what has been ordained for them [Qur'an 4:6]. And you desire to marry them [in greed], and the children who are weak [Qur'an 4:5] and to establish [witnesses- Qur'an 4:6] for the orphans in justice. And whatever you do of good; for sure, Allah is about that all Knowing.
If a woman fears ill-conduct or desertion for her man, there is no blame on them if they reconcile between them [Qur'an 2:234, Qur'an 2:240], and the reconciliation is best. And the greedy souls were brought; and if you do good and fear [Allah], for sure, Allah is aware about whatever you are working.
And you will never be able to be equal between the women, even if you eager to be so. So do not incline all the inclination [towards one] and leave another hanging [between marriage and divorce]. And if you make amends and fear [Allah], for sure, Allah is ever Forgiving, Most Merciful.
And if they [such couple] separate [Qur'an 2:234, Qur'an 2:240], Allah will enrich each from His abundance. And ever is Allah Encompassing, Wise.
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Book before you, and yourselves, that you fear Allah. But if you disbelieve, for sure to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is Ever Rich, Praiseworthy.
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And [every affair] sufficed about Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
If He wills, He can remove you, O mankind; and bring by others. And Allah is ever competent upon that.
Whoever might he be, desiring the worldly reward, so with Allah is the reward of the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is ever Hearing, Seer.
O you who believed, be establishers about the justice, [your] witnesses to Allah; even if it is against yourselves or the parents or the relatives. If he is rich or poor, so Allah is a guardian with both. So do not follow the inclination, lest you deviate. And if you distort or refuse [your witnesses to Allah, e.g., Qur'an 24:6-9], so indeed Allah is ever Aware about what you are working.
O you who believed [addressee in Qur'an 4:60], believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger [Qur'an] and the Book [its former border, Qur'an 13:40-41] which He sent down before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, and the Last Day, so certainly, he has strayed a far astray.
Indeed, those who believed, then disbelieved, then believed, then disbelieved, and then increased in disbelief, Allah will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to a pathway.
Give the news to the hypocrites about that for them is a painful punishment.
Those who take the infidels as guardian rather than the believers. Do they seek with them honour? But indeed the honour belongs entirely to Allah.
And He has already sent down upon you [believers, Qur'an 6:68] in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah being disbelieved through and ridiculed through; then do not sit with them until they enter into another narration. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and the infidels in Hell all together.
Those [double agents] who are waiting by you [believers]: So if there was a victory for you from Allah, they said, "Were we not with you?" But if there was a share for the infidels, they said [to those infidels], "Did we not gain the advantage over you, but we protected you from the believers?" So Allah will establish [their double game] between your [two sides] on the Day of Resurrection; and Allah will not make for the infidels against the believers, a way.
Indeed, the hypocrites deceived Allah while He is deceiving them. And when they get up for the prayers, they get up lazily, showing [them] to the people and not remembering Allah except a little.
Wavering between that [double agent role]: not to these, nor to these. And whoever Allah strays, then you [O Muhammad] will not find for him a way.
O you who believed, do not take the infidels [the cyber warriors] as allies rather than the believers. Do you wish that you set up for Allah against you, an obvious authoritative proof [of defiance]?
Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire, and you will not find [O Muhammad] for them any helper.
Except those who repented, and reformed, and hold firmly about Allah, while being sincere in their religion for Allah. So those will be with the believers; and soon Allah will grant the believers a great reward.
What would Allah do by punishing you, if you are thankful and believed in Him? And Allah is ever Appreciative, all Knowing.
Allah does not like the disclosure about the evil of the words, except by whoever is oppressed [by those grudges]. And Allah is ever Hearing, All-Knowing.
If you disclose a good, or conceal it, or pardon an evil, for sure, Allah is ever Pardoning, Competent.
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers and wish to separate between Allah and His messengers, and [accordingly] say, "We believe in some and disbelieve in some," and wish to adopt a way between that.
Those are the infidels, truly. And We have prepared for the infidels a humiliating punishment.
But those who believe in Allah and His messengers and do not separate between anyone of them, those, He will soon grant them their rewards. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
The People of the Book ask you to send down upon them a book from the heaven. So already they had asked Moses a greater than that. And they said, "Show us Allah manifestly." So the thunderbolt smote them in their wrongdoing. Then they took the calf [as God], after the proof had come to them. Then We forgave on that and We gave Moses an obvious authority.
And We raised the Mount high above them in their covenant [about abiding Torah], and We said to them, "Enter the gate prostrating." And We said to them, "Do not transgress in the Sabbath", and took from them a covenant forcefully.
So for their overturning of their covenant with their disbelief in the verses of Allah, with their killing of the prophets, with alienating truth, with their statement, "Our hearts are wrapped [in pride]," [We cursed them]. No but is there! Allah has sealed on it by their disbelief, so they are not believing, except a few.
And for their disbelief and their saying against Mary a slander forcefully [We cursed them],
And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but it was made to appear to them [by Jewish cognitive warrior M**k]. And indeed, those [other Jewish cognitive warriors P**l, L**e, M*****w, J**n] who differ in it [M**k's editing, for not being good enough to serve Jews] have surly doubt in their own data. They [all these Jewish warriors] have no knowledge concerning it except the following of assumptions [to assert "his crucifixion" to save Jews from embarrassment and at the same time to equalize the numerical supremacy of their enemies with confusion after confusion]. And they did not kill him certainly.
No but is there. Allah raised him up to Himself. And Allah is ever Invincible, Indisputable.
And left is none from the people of the Book [in Qur'an 4:157 saying Messiah, messenger of Allah for the sake of confirming their victory] but that he surely believes in him [as uncrucified Messiah and messenger of Allah] before his own death [confirming their loss, as a punishment]. And He will be against them a witness on the Day of Resurrection.
So for the oppression of those who were the Jews, We made unlawful against them good foods which had been lawful to them; and about their averting from the way of Allah a lot [of people],
And for their taking of the usury while already they were forbidden from it, and for their consuming of the people's wealth wrongfully. And we have prepared for the infidels from them a painful punishment.
But those who are grounded in the knowledge from them, and the believers, are believing in what was sent down to you [O Muhammad], and in what [the former border, Qur'an 13:40-41] was sent down before you; and the prayers establishers; and the givers of zakah and the believers in Allah and the Last Day, those We will give them a great reward.
Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and to the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes [children of Jacob], and Jesus, and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron, and Solomon. And We gave David a Zabora [Psalms],
And messengers, certainly We had mentioned them over you before [you] and before messengers. We would not mention those details upon you [O Muhammad, as per Qur'an 13:40-41]. And Allah spoke to Moses a [related] speech.
Messengers are bringers of good tidings and warners; so that not there be for mankind against Allah any argument after the messengers. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
But Allah bears witness about what He has sent down to you [O Muhammad]. He has sent it down with His knowledge. And the angels bear witness [as well]. And [every bearing] sufficed about Allah as a Bearer of witnesses.
Indeed, those who disbelieved [Qur'an 4:166] and barred [others] from the way of Allah, have certainly strayed a far astray.
Indeed, those who disbelieved and oppressed; Allah will not forgive them, nor would He guide them to a path
Except the way of Hell wherein they will abide for ever. And that is easy upon Allah.
O Mankind, certainly the Messenger has come to you with the truth from your Lord, so believe; it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then indeed, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Knowing, Wise.
O people of the Book, do not commit excess in your religion and do not say upon Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah and His term [of repeating creation of Adam, Qur'an 29:19, Qur'an 30:11, Qur'an 10:34, Qur'an 85:13 through female-male-female gender alteration]; He conveyed His term to Mary [by angels Qur'an 3:45] and [by] a Spirit from Him [Qur'an 19:17-21, messenger Gabriel]. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, "Three"; Stop, it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is Only one God. It is far from His Glory that there should be for Him a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And [every affair] sufficed about Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
The Messiah would not disdain to be Allah's slave, nor would the angels, the welcomed ones. Whoever disdains on His worship and be arrogant; So He gather them before Him altogether.
Then as for those who believed and worked the righteous deeds, so He will grant them their rewards in full, and will increase them form His bounty. But as for those who disdained and were arrogant, then He will punish them with a painful punishment. And they will not find for themselves other than Allah, a guardian nor helper.
O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you an obvious light.
So as for those who believed in Allah and hold firmly about Him, so He will admit them within a mercy from Him and a bounty and guide them to Himself in a straight path.
They ask you for a [legal] ruling; say, "Allah gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." Should a man perishes and has no child, and he has a sister, so for her is one half of what he left. And he inherits her if she has no child. So if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are siblings, men and women, then for the male is like the share of two females. Allah makes clear to you [His law], lest you astray. And Allah about everything is All-Knowing.
