Those who reject it among the people of the Book and among the polytheists were not going to depart until there came to them clear evidence
A messenger from God, rehearsing scriptures kept pure
In it are laws, right and straight
Nor did the people of the Book form sects, until after there came to them clear evidence
And they have been asked no more than this— to worship God, offer Him sincere devotion, be truthful, establish prayer, and give zakat, and that is the way of life which is right and straight
Those who reject it among the people of the Book and among the polytheists, will be in hellfire, to dwell therein forever. They are the worst of creatures
Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures
Their reward with God is gardens of eternity, beneath which rivers flow, they will dwell therein forever, God well pleased with them, and they with Him. All this for those who are conscious of their Lord
