Read in (the) name (of) your Lord the One Who created
He created man from a clinging substance
Read, and your Lord (is) the Most Generous
The One Who taught by the pen
Taught man what not he knew
Nay! Indeed, man surely transgresses
That he sees himself self-sufficient
Indeed, to your Lord (is) the return
Have you seen the one who forbid
A slave when he prays
Have you seen if he is upon [the] guidance
Or he enjoins [of the] righteousness
Have you seen if he denies and turns away
Does not he know that Allah sees
Nay! If not he desists, surely We will drag him by the forelock
A forelock lying, sinful
Then let him call his associates
We will call the Angel
Nay! (Do) not obey him. But prostrate and draw near (to Allah)
