By the sun and its morning brightness.
By the moon as it follows it.
By the day as it reveals it.
By the night as it covers it.
By the sky and He who built it.
By the earth and He who spread it.
By the soul and He who shaped it.
Then inspired it with its wickedness and its righteousness.
Successful is the one who purifies it.
And ruined is the one who corrupts it.
Thamud denied in their transgression.
When the most wretched among them rose up.
The messenger of God said to them, "The she-camel of God and her right to drink."
But they rejected him and hamstrung her, so their Lord crushed them for their sin and leveled them.
He fears no consequence.
