Has the news of the overwhelming event (of Resurrection) reached you?
On that Day some faces will be humiliated (in the hellfire)
in hard labor, worn out,
burn in the hot blazing fire,
given to drink from a boiling spring.
They will have no food except bitter thorny fruit,
that will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger.
Other faces on that Day will be joyful,
pleased with their endeavors (of good deeds)
in a high garden (Paradise).
They will hear no vain talk in it.
They will have a running spring in it.
They will be on thrones raised high in it,
with cups placed at hand
and cushions set in rows
and rich carpets spread out.
Don’t they look at the camels, how they are created?
And the sky, how it is raised?
And the mountains, how they are fixed firmly?
And the earth, how it is spread out?
So remind them (O Muhammad), you are only a reminder,
not a dictator over them.
Except those who turn away and disbelieve,
then Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment.
Surely, to Us will be their return,
then surely, We will take their reckoning.
