Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High.
The One who created and fashioned,
and who proportioned and guided,
and who brought forth the pasture,
then turned it into dark stubble.
We will make you read then you will not forget,
except what God wills. He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
And We will ease you towards ease.
So remind, in case the reminder benefits.
He who fears will be reminded,
while the most wretched will shun it.
He is the one who will roast in the greatest Fire.
Then he will neither die in it nor live.
Successful indeed is the one who purified himself,
and remembered the name of his Lord and observed the Salat.
However, you prefer the worldly life
when the Hereafter is better and longer lasting.
Indeed, this is in the earlier Scrolls;
the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses.
