Surah “The Morning Star, The Nightcomer”

as rendered by Shuaib Abdullahi — 17 verses

By (Wa) the sky (Es'Samaai) and (Wa) the night comer (Ettoariq)*.
And (Wa) what (Maa) will make you (s) know (Ad'raa-ka) what (Maa) is the night comer (Ettoariq)?
It is the piercing (Etthaaqib) star (En'Naj'mu).
If (In) every (Kullu) soul (Naf'sin) has no (Lammaa) guardian (Haafizu) over it (Alai'ha),
then let (Fal') the human being (El' Insaanu) observe (Yanzuri) from what (Mimma) he was created (Khuliq).
He was created (Khuliqa) from (Min) a spurting (Daafiq) liquid (water) (Maain),
coming out (Yakh'ruju) from (Min) between (Bai'ni) the spine (Es'Sul'bi) and (Wa) the ribs (Ettaraaib).
Indeed, HE (God) (Innahu) is (La) able to (Qaadiru Älaa) bring him back (Raj'e-hi)
on the day (Yaw'ma) the conscience (Es'Saraair) will be trialled (Tub'laa);
thence (Fa) he (the human) will have (Lahu) no (Maa Min) power (Quwwatin) or (Walaa) helper (Naasir).
By (Wa) the sky (Es'Samaai) self (Zaati) returning (Er'Raj'e),
and (Wa) the earth (El'Ar'di) self (Zaati) cracking (Es'Sod'e).
Indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) a decisive (Fas'lu) statement (Qaw'lun),
and (Wa) it (Huwa) is not (Maa Bi) a joke (El'Haz'l).
Indeed, they (Innahum) are plotting (Yakiiduuna) a scheme (Kai'daa),
but (Wa) I (God) have plotted (Akiidu) a scheme (Kai'daa).
So (Fa) respite (Mahhili) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina); respite them (Am'hil'hum’) gently (Ruwai'da).
