By the sky having the constellations
and by the promised day
and by the witness and the witnessed.
Damn the companions of the fire pit,
the fire having (plenty of) fuel,
when they sat around it,
and they were witnesses over what they did to the believers.
And they only took revenge from them for believing in God the powerful, the praiseworthy.
The One that the rule of the skies and the earth belongs to Him, and God is witness over everything.
Indeed, those who persecuted (and tortured) the believing men and the believing women and did not repent, they will have the punishment of hell and the burning punishment is for them.
Indeed, those who believe and do good, for them are gardens which rivers flow through them. That is the great victory.
Indeed, your Lord’s assault is severe.
Indeed, He starts and repeats (the creation),
and He is the forgiving, the most friendly,
Owner of the glorious dominion,
doer of what He wants.
Did the story of the forces/armies come to you (Muhammad),
(story of) Pharaoh and Thamud?
Yet those who disbelieve are in denial,
while God surrounds (has complete knowledge of and power over) them from every direction.
However, this is a glorious Quran
in a guarded (and protected) tablet.
