He frowned and turned away.
Because the blind man came to him.
And for all that you know perhaps he may come to sanctify his soul.
Or that he may come to remember and the remembrance benefit him.
As for the one who considers himself self-sufficient.
Then for such you put yourself in his way.
And there will be nothing on you if he does not sanctify his own soul.
But as for the one who comes to you endeavoring.
While he defers to Allah.
Then you distracted yourself away from him.
Not at all! It is indeed a remembrance.
So whoever pleases let him take it to remembrance.
In books most gracious.
Raised high and cleansed.
In the hands of scribes.
Gracious and pious.
Darned is the human being how ungrateful he is.
From what did He create him.
From a drop of liquid, He created him and measured him with just measurement.
Then He made the way easy [for him].
Then He put him to death and He entombed him.
Then if He pleases, He will resurrect him.
Not at all! He has not fulfilled that which He has commanded him.
So let the human being look at his food.
That We indeed poured the water down a pouring.
And then We cleft the earth a cleaving.
And We caused to grow therein seed,
and grapes, and vegetables,
and olives, and dates,
and gardens with tall trees,
and fruits, and grass;
as provision for you and for your cattle.
But when the deafening cry comes.
That day when the man will flee from his brother,
and from his mother, and from his father,
and from his spouse, and his children,
for each person among them that day there is a matter that entirely occupies him.
Some faces that day will be bright.
Laughing and delightful.
And some faces that day will have dust on them.
Belabored by dark soot.
These are those who were the ingrates, the criminals.
