He frowned and turned away.
Because the blind man came to him.
What would make you know? Perhaps he would purify himself.
Or be reminded, and the reminder would benefit him.
As for the one who considers himself self-sufficient.
You give him your attention.
Yet it is not your concern if he does not purify himself.
But as for the one who came to you striving.
While he fears.
From him you are distracted.
No! This is a reminder.
So whoever wills may remember it.
In honored scriptures.
Exalted and purified.
In the hands of scribes.
Noble and righteous.
Cursed is man! How ungrateful he is!
From what thing did He create him?
From a drop of fluid He created him and proportioned him.
Then He made the path easy for him.
Then He caused him to die and buried him.
Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.
No! He has not yet fulfilled what He commanded him.
Let man look at his food.
We poured down water in abundance.
Then We split the earth open.
And We caused grain to grow in it.
And grapes and fresh vegetation.
And olives and date palms.
And dense gardens.
And fruits and pastures.
Provision for you and your livestock.
When the Deafening Blast comes.
The Day a man will flee from his brother.
And his mother and his father.
And his wife and his children.
Every one of them that Day will have enough concern of his own.
Faces that Day will be radiant.
Laughing, rejoicing.
And faces that Day will be covered with dust.
Veiled in darkness.
Those are the disbelievers, the wicked.
