Nun [Enlightenment]. By the pen and what they write in lines,
By the grace of your Lord [O Muhammad], you are not possessed.
And indeed, for you is a reward unending.
And indeed, you are upon a great moral character.
So soon you will see and they will see
Which of you [people] is the possessed one.
Indeed, your Lord is most knowing about whoever has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing about the guided ones.
So do not obey [i.e., be free from] the beliers.
They wish if you compromise, so they will compromise.
And do not obey [i.e., be free from] every humiliated swearer
Defamer, walking by foul rumor,
Depreciating charity to, exceeding limits, sinful,
Cruel man and after that an illegitimate son.
If he was a possessor of wealth and children,
Whenever Our verses are recited upon him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
Soon We will brand him upon the nose.
Indeed, We have tested them as We tested the companions of the garden, when they swore to reap it in the morning
Without excluding [the mindset, Qur'an 68:10-13].
So there came upon it [the garden] a visitation from your Lord while they were asleep.
And it [the garden] became as if reaped.
So they called one another in the morning,
[Saying] that, "Go early on your tillage if you would reap."
So they went, while they lowered their voices,
[Saying] that, "There should enter it today [to beg] upon you no needy person."
And they went early upon [silently to meet that] purpose, resolved.
So when they saw it, they said, "Indeed, we are strayed.
No but is there [Qur'an 68:26]. We are deprived."
The wisest of them said, "Did I not say to you, `If only you pay tribute [as per Qur'an 68:18]?'"
They said, "Glory be to our Lord! Indeed, we were oppressors."
Then some of them approached against other, blaming one another.
They said, "O woe to us; indeed we were taghut [colonizers of the gardens, Qur'an 68:13].
Perhaps our Lord would replace for us [a garden] that is better than it. Indeed, we to our Lord are desiring [a new garden]."
Such is the punishment [of this world]. And the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.
Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the paradises of Bliss.
So will We set up the muslims like the criminals [are set up, Qur'an 68:33]?
What belongs to you there, as to how you should establish?
What? A book belongs to you there, through which you learn
That indeed upto you therein be whatever you choose?
Or belongs to you are oaths upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed upto you is whatever you establish?
Ask them which of them, about such [claim], a claimer.
Or do they have partners? Then let them bring on their partners, if they are truthful
The Day the shin [Allah's divine self] will be uncovered and they are invited to the prostration but the infidels will not be capable,
Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they were certainly called to the prostration while they were sound [in the world].
So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with whoever belies about this narration [Qur'an]. We will take them down by degrees from where they do not know.
And I will give time to them. Indeed, My plan is firm.
Or do you ask them for a payment, so they are burdened from debt?
Or do the have [knowledge of] the unseen, so they are writing?
So be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the fishing fellow [Qur'an 37:142] when he called out while he was distressed [Qur'an 21:87].
If not that a favour from his Lord has reached him, he would have been cast into the naked shore, while he was blameworthy.
But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous.
And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the reminder; and they say, "Indeed, he is a madman."
And it [Qur'an] is not except a reminder to the worlds.
