Ta [Healing Qur'an]. Seen [Abrogated Books]. Meem [Natural sciences].
These are the verses of the obvious Book.
We recite upon you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in the truth for a people who believe.
Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into castes. He oppressed a tribe [the Israelites] among them, killing their [newborn] sons and sparing their females. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.
And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were weakened in the land and make them Imams [religious leader] and make them the inheritors
And position them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their troops from them what they were preempting [Qur'an 28:4].
And We revealed to Moses's mother that: "You should suckle him; but when you fear upon him, cast him in the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him [one] of the messengers."
So Pharaoh's people picked him up [out of the river] to be for them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their troops were deliberate sinners.
And the woman of Pharaoh said, "Coolness of eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; It may be that he will be of benefit to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they do not sense [Quran Qur'an 28:8].
And the heart of Moses' mother became empty. She was about to disclose all about him had We not fastened upon her heart to be of the believers.
And she said to his sister, "Follow him"; so she watched him from a distance while they did not sense.
And We forbade upon him [all] wet nurses before, so she said, "Shall I take you [O nurses] on a family house who will rear him for you and they would be sincere to him?"
So We restored him to his mother that her eye might be cooled and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of them do not know.
And when he attained his full strength and was mature, We bestowed upon him authority and knowledge. And thus do We reward the doers of good.
And he entered the city upon a time un-vigilance from its people and found therein two men fighting: this one from his faction and this one from his enemy. And the one from his faction called for help to him against the one from his enemy. So Moses punched him, then he killed him over. [Moses] said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy."
He said, "My Lord, indeed I oppressed myself [for helping the real criminal, Qur'an 28:17, in panic], so forgive me,". Then He forgave him. Indeed, He is the All-Forgiving, the All-Merciful.
He said, "My Lord, with what You graced upon me, I will never be a back up for the criminals."
And he became in the city fearful, vigilant. So then the one who sought his help in the day before was crying out to him again for help [in the fight between the same two factions]. Moses said to him [from the enemy faction], "Indeed, you are obviously a misguided man."
And when he wanted to strike the one who was an enemy to both of them [Moses and the one who cried for help], he said, "O Moses, do you intend to kill me as you killed someone [from your trial] in the day before? Left is nothing you intend [in Qur'an 28:17] except that you become a tyrant in the land. And you do not want to be of those who reform themselves."
And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the chief leaders are issuing decrees about you to kill you, so leave; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors."
So he left it, fearful, vigilant, saying, "My Lord, save me from the people [enemy faction], the oppressors [chief leaders]."
And when he turned his face towards Madyan, he said, "Perhaps my Lord will be to guide me in the sound way."
And when he arrived at the water of Madyan, he found thereon a crowd of the [young] men watering [their flocks], and he found other than them two women who were keeping back [their flocks]. He said, "What is the matter with you?" They said, "We can not draw water until the shepherds take away [their flocks]; and our father is a very old man."
So he watered [their flocks] for both of them; then he turned back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."
Then one of the two women came to him walking upon shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you to reward you a payment of what you watered for us." So when he came to him and narrated the story upon him, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the people [enemy faction], the oppressors [chief leaders]."
One of the two said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire, the strong, the trustworthy."
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of my daughters, these two, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be of your own choice. And I do not wish to impose difficulty upon you. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the righteous."
[Moses] said, "That is between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I completed - So no injustice against me, and Allah is over what we say, a Trustee."
Then when Moses completed the term and was traveling with his family, he perceived from the direction of Al Tur [mount] a fire. He said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I perceived a fire. Perhaps I will bring you from there with information [about the lost staff] or burning wood from the fire perhaps you may warm yourselves."
So when he came to it, he was called from the right side of the valley in a blessed spot - from the tree, that: "O Moses, indeed, I am Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
And that, `Throw down your staff [as it was a snake camouflaging as your lost staff]'." So when he saw it slithering as because it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, come forward and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure.
Insert your hand into the opening of your garment; it will come out white [slathering light emitting tranquilizing gels, germs from the snake] without causing any disease. And draw in your arm close to you [to get] out of fear [by the tranquilizer gel, Qur'an 2:248-249]. For those are two proofs from your Lord to Pharaoh and his chief leaders. Indeed, they have been a people defiantly disobedient."
He said, "My Lord, indeed, I killed a man from them, and I fear that they will kill me.
And my brother Aaron is more fluent than me in speech, so send him with me as a helper, for confirming me. Indeed, I fear that they will belie me."
[Allah] said, "We will strengthen your arm by your brother and grant for you both superiority, so they will not reach to both of you. With Our signs, you both and those who follow you both are the predominant."
So when Moses came to them with Our proof verses, [the chief leaders] said, "This is not except fabricated magic. And we did not hear about this [guidance] in our forefathers."
And Moses said, "My Lord knows best about who comes with the guidance from Him and who will have the good end for him in the hereafter. Indeed, the oppressors do not succeed."
And [upon sensing Qur'an 27:14, Qur'an 28:36] Pharaoh said, "O chief leaders, I did not know for you any god other than me. So ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower so I may look towards the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is from the liars."
And he was arrogant, he and his troops, in the land without being true [to themselves], and they thought that they would not be returning to Us.
So We seized him and his troops. So We forsake them in the [deep] sea. So see how was the end of the oppressors.
And We made them Imams [leaders] calling to the Fire; And on the Day of Resurrection they will not be supported.
And We caused a curse to follow them in this world. And on the Day of Resurrection they will be of the despised.
And We certainly brought Moses in the Book, after whatever We had destroyed of the former generations; as a Witness to the people and guidance and mercy, perhaps they may be remembering.
And you [O Muhammad] were not by the western side [of Al Tur] when We decreed the command to Moses, nor you were from the witnesses.
But We produced generations so the life span was prolonged for them [forgot the Book, Qur'an 25:18]. And you [O Muhammad] were not a resident in the people of Madyan, reciting upon them Our verses, but We were senders [of these data].
And you [O Muhammad, likewise] were not by the side of Al Tur [mount] when We called [Moses] but [you were sent] as a mercy from your Lord to warn a people to whom no warner had come before you perhaps they may be remembering.
And if not that a calamity struck them about what their hands put forward [in effect], so they would say, "Our Lord, why did You not send to us a messenger so we could have followed Your verses and been of the believers?"
But when the truth came to them from Us, they said, "Why was he not given like what was given to Moses [`miracle']?" Did they not disbelieve in what was given to Moses before? They said [concerning Qur'an 28:31-32], "Two works of magic supporting each other, and indeed we are, in both of them, infidels."
Say, "Then bring a Book from Allah which has a guidance of both [proofs, Qur'an 28:31-32] that I may follow it, if you are truthful ones."
But if they do not respond to you; then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire, having no guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the people, the oppressors.
And We have already conveyed to them the word [the Qur'an] that they may be remembering.
Those to whom We gave the Book before this [Qur'an], they are believing in it.
And when it is recited upon them, they said, "We have believed in it; indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed we were Muslims before it."
Those will be given their reward twice with what they patiently endured with and they ward off the evil by the good, and for what We have provided them they spend [Halal way].
And when they hear ill [depreciating, belittling, boastful etc] speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our works, and for you are your works. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant ones."
Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing about the guided ones.
And they said, "If we follow the guidance with you, we will be abducted from our land." Did We not enable for them a secure sanctuary to which are collected the fruits of every thing as a livelihood from Us? But most of them do not know.
And so many a city We destroyed that was unappreciative with its livelihood. So those are their dwellings, not inhabited after them except a little. And We were the Inheritors.
And your Lord [O Muhammad] was not destroying the towns until He sent to their mother [leaders] a messenger reciting upon them Our verses. And We were not destroying the towns except while their people were oppressing.
And whatever a thing you [people] are given is for an enjoyment of the worldly life and its adornment. And what is with Allah is goodness and more lasting; so will you not use reason?
Then is he whom We have promised a good promise, so he will meet it, like he whom We provided enjoyment of the worldly life, then he will be, on the Day of Resurrection, of those presented [for punishment in Hell]?
And on a Day He will call them for saying, "Where are My `partners' whom you were claiming?"
Those [Imams] against whom the saying [Qur'an 28:62] came true will cry, "Our Lord, these are those we led astray. We led them astray just as we ourselves had gone astray. We declare our innocence to You; they were not worshipping us."
And it will be said [to their followers], "Call on your `partners'" and they will call them; but they will not respond to them, and they saw the punishment. If only that, they were guided.
And a Day He will call them for saying, "What did you answer the messengers?"
So all the news will be blinded upon them that Day, so they will not ask one another.
But as for one who had repented, believed, and worked righteous, then he can hope to be of the successful ones.
And your Lord creates what He wills and He chooses. Not was for them the choice. Allah is Exalted and is high above what they associate with Him.
And your Lord knows what their chests conceal and what they declare.
And He is Allah; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be all returned.
Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make against you the night perpetual till the Day of Resurrection, which a god other than Allah could bring you light? So will you not hear?"
Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make against you the day perpetual till the Day of Resurrection, which a god other than Allah could bring you with a night you may rest therein? So will you not see?"
And out of His mercy He made for you the night and the day that you may rest therein and seek from His bounty, [respectively] and [that] perhaps you may be thankful.
And on a Day He will call them, for saying, "Where are my `partners' which you were claiming?"
And We took off from every nation a witness, for saying [to them], "Produce your proof," So they knew that the truth belongs to Allah, and strayed from them, what they were inventing.
Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, so he transgress over them. And We gave him of the treasures, whose keys would burden, a band of strong men; when his people said to him, "Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not love the exultant.
But seek, through what Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And do not seek corruption in the earth. Indeed, Allah does not love corrupters."
He said, "I was given it on knowledge only with me." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation? But the criminals will not be asked of their misdeeds.
So he came out upon his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that for us like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is a host of great luck."
But those who were given knowledge said, "Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for whoever believed and worked righteous. And none is granted it except the patient ones."
And We glide the land down with him and with his home. And there was for him no party to support him other than Allah, nor he was of the victors.
And those who had wished for his position in the day before, began to say, "Oh, how Allah extends the livelihood for whomever He wills of His slaves and He restricts it. If not that Allah had conferred favor on us, He would have glided the land down with us. Oh, how the infidels do not succeed!"
That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire supremacy in the earth nor corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgment] with a good deed then for him will be better than that; and whoever comes with an evil deed - then those who did evil deeds will not be recompensed except [as much as] what they were working.
Indeed, [O Muhammad], He who ordained upon you the Qur'an will return you back to [your] destination [Mecca]. Say, "My Lord is knower of who came in the guidance and who is in an obvious astray."
And you [O Muhammad] were not expecting that the Book would be cast to you, but [it is] a mercy from your Lord. So do not be a back up for the infidels.
And do not let them avert you [O Muhammad] from the verses of Allah after they have been sent down to you. And invite [people] to your Lord. And never be of the polytheists.
And do not invoke [O reader] with Allah another god. There is no god except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. To Him is the authority, and to Him you all are returning.
