Alif [Commons sense], Lam [Self referencing], Meem [Natural science], Ra [Hadith references]. These are the verses of the Book; and that which has been revealed to you [O Muhammad] from your Lord is the truth, but most of the mankind do not believe.
Allah is the one who erected the heavens without pillars; you [O mankind] could see it; then He turned, settled, prepared, switched the Throne on and [on its field] subjected the sun and the moon to roll with smile, each running for a stated term [Qur'an 75:9]. He lays down the Command [arranging every affair]; He details the signs so that you may be certain about meeting your Lord.
And He is the one who spread the earth and set up therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and concerning all the fruits He made through a pair two pairs [(x, y) where \ x: (x, y)\ and \ y: (x, y)\ ]; the night covers the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who think.
And in the Earth are neighbouring tracts and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several with the same root or with distinct roots, watered with one water; but We cause to exceed some of them against others in the fruit [quality, yield]. Indeed in that are reasonable signs for a people who reason.
And if you are to wonder [O Muhammad] - then a wondering should be their statement, "Is it when we became dust, will we be dustily in a new creation?" Those are the ones who have disbelieved in their Lord, and those are the shackles in their necks, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.
They urge you to rush about bad before good, while there has already occurred before them similar punishments. And indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for the people against their wrongdoing, and indeed, your Lord is severe in penalty.
And those who disbelieved say, "If only was there sent down upon him a sign from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and for every people as a guide.
Allah knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose and what grows. And everything with Him is by due measure.
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Most Great, the Most High.
It is the same [to Him] from you [mankind] whoever conceals [his] speech or whoever be aloud about it and who he is hidden by night or conspicuous by day.
For him there are [angels] escorts between his two hands and behind him guarding him from Allah's decree. Indeed, Allah will not change what is in a people until they change what is in themselves. And if Allah intends about a people evil then there is no repelling for it. And they do not have for them other than Him any Guardian.
It is He who shows you [mankind] the lightening, [causing] fear and hope, and produces the heavy clouds.
And the thunder celebrates about His praise - and the angels thereof about His fear - and He sends thunderbolts then strikes therewith whom He wills while they are disputing concerning Allah; and He is mighty in wrath.
Supplication to Him [alone] is the truth. And those they invoke other than Him can not respond to them with any thing, except as someone who stretches his hands toward water to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [his mouth]. And the supplication of the infidels is not but in astray.
And to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion, and their shadows [as well] in the mornings and the afternoons.
Say, "Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?" Say, "Allah." Say, "Have you then taken other than Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?" Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light? Or have they attributed to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar [in pattern, feature, configuration, function etc] upon them?" Say [the only explanation of such consistency, Qur'an 67:3], "Allah [the only God] is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Irresistible."
He sends down from the sky, rain, and valleys flow in their measure, then the torrent carries a rising foam. And from what they heat upon in the fire, to make adornments and utensils, is a scum like it. Thus Allah presents the truth and falsehood [scum]. As for the scum, it vanishes, [being] cast off; but as for that which benefits the people, it remains on the earth. Thus does Allah present examples.
For those who have responded to their Lord is the best [reward], but those who did not respond to Him - if they had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would entirely [use it] to ransom themselves thereabout. Those for them would be the worst account, and their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.
Then is he who knows that what has been sent down to you [O Muhammad] from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? Only people of understanding would pay heed-
Those who fulfill the covenant of Allah and do not break the contract,
And those who join what Allah has ordered therein [following the religion of Abraham, Ishmael (as) Qur'an 2:135, Qur'an 3:67] to be joined and fear their Lord and fear the evil reckoning,
And those who endure patiently, seeking their Lord’s pleasure, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those - for them is the final attainment the [eternal] home -
Gardens of perpetual bliss; they will enter there with whoever were righteous from their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [with the salutation],
"Peace be upon you - about what [Qur'an 13:20-22] you patiently endured [in effect]. And excellent is the final home."
But those who break the covenant of Allah after contracting it and sever what Allah has ordered therein [kinship with Abraham, Ishmael (as) Qur'an 2:135, Qur'an 3:67] to be joined and spread corruption [shirk, all kind of isms, deviancy] on earth - for them is the curse, and they will have the worst home.
Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the life of this world, but what the worldly life would be in the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment.
And those who disbelieved say, "If only was there sent down upon him a sign from his Lord?" Say [O Muhammad], "Indeed, Allah strays whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back [to Him, no room for sign].
For those who have believed and about [assurance] the remembrance of Allah assured their hearts. Verily, about [assurance] the remembrance of Allah assures the hearts [not a sign].
Those who have believed and worked the righteous deeds - [every] blessedness is for them and a beautiful place of return."
Thus have We sent you [O Muhammad] in a community before which [other] communities have already passed away to recite upon them that which We revealed to you, while they disbelieve in the Most Merciful. Say, "He is my Lord; there is no deity except Him. Upon Him I put my trust, and to Him alone is my return."
And if only it is a Qur'an by which the mountains could be moved or the earth could be broken apart by it or the dead could be made to speak by it? No but is there [it is]! to Allah belongs the affair altogether. So do, those who have believed, not know that had Allah willed, He would have guided the mankind, altogether? And those who disbelieved do not cease to be struck by what they have made, a disaster - or it will descend near from their home - until there comes the promise of Allah. Indeed, Allah does not fail in [His] promise.
And already were messengers ridiculed before you [O Muhammad], and I granted respite to those who disbelieved; then I seized them. So how it was [how], My penalty.
So is He who positions upon every soul about what it would harvest, [like any other]? But to Allah they have attributed partners. Say, "Just name them Or do you inform Him about what He knows not in the earth or about the apparent of speech?" No but is there [He is all Knowing]. Their plan has been sugarcoated to those who disbelieved, and they have been averted from the way. And whomever Allah strays, then for him there is no guide.
For them will be punishment in the life of [this] world, and certainly the punishment of the Hereafter would be more severe. And they will not have from Allah any protector.
The example of Paradise, which the righteous have been promised, is [that] rivers flow beneath it, its lasting fruit, and shade. That is the consequence for the righteous, and the consequence for the infidels is the Fire.
And those to whom We have given the Book are rejoicing about what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad] and of the factions are those who deny part of it [Qur'an 10:15]. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not associate [anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."
And thus We have sent it down as an absolute authority in Arabic. And if you were to follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have any ally or any protector from Allah.
And We have already sent messengers before you [O Muhammad] and made for them wives and descendants. And it was not for a messenger to come with a sign except by Allah's permission. For each period is a book [sent down].
Allah erased what He wills or confirms [His earlier books], and with Him is the Mother of the Book.
And whether We show you [O Muhammad] part of the task We have appointed, engaged, obligated them with [the previous messengers about confirming you], or We have recalled you [in erasing previous books, Qur'an 13:39], So you are the only [messenger among them] on whom is the delivery of the Mother of the Book in its firm border, and upon Us is reckoning [of its firm border].
Have they [inheritors of the prior messengers] not considered that We approached the land [substrate of the Mother of the Book], reducing it from its borders [erasing previous books, Qur'an 2:106, Qur'an 7:146, Qur'an 7:34, Qur'an 2:93]? And Allah decides; there is no adjuster of His decision. And He is swift in reckoning.
And those before them [their step forefathers] had plotted [against its former border, Qur'an 6:93], but to Allah belongs the plan altogether. He knows what every soul earns, and the infidels will know for whom is the final home.
And those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, [O Muhammad], "A witness by Allah is ever enough between me and between you and whoever with him is a knowledge of the Book."
