Surah “The Calamity, The Stunning Blow, The Disaster, The Terrible Calamity”

The calamity.

What is the calamity?

And what will make you realize what the calamity is? (It will befall on)

the day when mankind will be like scattered moths,

and the mountains will be like loosened wool.

Then as for him whose weights (of good deeds) are heavy,

then he will lead a life of pleasure.

And as for him whose weights (of good deeds) are light,

then his home* will be in a deep pit (of hell). * Destination

And what will make you realize what the (deep pit of hell) is?

(It is a) very hot fire.
