Surah “The Calamity, The Stunning Blow, The Disaster, The Terrible Calamity”

Al-Qariah (The great Calamity)

What is the great Calamity

And what made you realise what is the great Calamity

The Day mankind becomes like moths scattered about

And the mountains become like wool, fully carded

Then as for that: whose weights (of good deeds) became heavy —

so he will be in happy life in complete agreement (of the Will of God)

And as for that: whose weights (of good deeds) became light (and insignificant)

then his parent place will be Hawiyah

And what made you realise what it is, that one

(It is the) Fire extremely hot and fiercely blazing
